Your health, safety, and comfort are our highest priorities. At Tattoo in tokyo Studio, we follow strict hygiene protocols and international best practices to provide a clean and professional environment for every client.

1. Cleanliness & Sanitation Standards

  • The studio is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily.
  • All workstations are sanitized before and after every tattoo session.
  • Floors, chairs, and surfaces are cleaned using hospital-grade disinfectants.

2. Equipment Sterilization

  • All tattoo needles, cartridges, and tubes are single-use and disposable.
  • Tattoo machines, clip cords, and grips are covered with barrier protection during procedures.
  • Ink caps and razors are used once per client and safely discarded.
  • All waste is disposed of as biomedical waste, in accordance with Japanese safety laws.

3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Artists wear sterile gloves during procedures.
  • Gloves are changed regularly, especially after touching non-sterile surfaces.

4. Health Screening & Medical Safety

  • Clients must inform us of any allergies, skin conditions, or medical issues before the tattoo.
  • We do not tattoo clients who are sick, under the influence, or have open wounds or infections.

5. No Reuse Policy

  • We follow a strict no-reuse policy for needles, gloves, razors, or any material that comes in contact with skin or blood.
  • All tools are either single-use or autoclave-sterilized, depending on their nature.

6. Private & Safe Environment

  • The studio provides a private and calm space for clients who require discretion.
  • We ensure client comfort and dignity, especially for tattoos in sensitive areas.
